Medium and High Pressure Cone and Thread Training
This practical training seminar is designed for engineers, installers, and supervisors involved with installations and inspection of cone & thread connections.
Core Objectives:
- Safety precautions when using the coning and threading tools
- Describe medium and high pressure fittings, differentiate between the two and their functionality
- Demonstrate the use of the coning and threading tool, tubing preparation, inspection, and tool maintenance
- Correct installation of cone and thread fittings
- Verification of installation
- Perform basic troubleshooting
Assessment: Swagelok card and certificate upon successful completion of theoretical and practical exam
Prerequisite: None
Duration: 6 hours
Maximum class size: 10
Location: no dates currently scheduled for 2020, can be organised at any location upon request
