Safety is a key consideration when selecting, maintaining, or replacing valves. Learn to choose the right valves for your applications by identifying proper valve types and functions, understanding key features and construction, and identifying common issues. Upon completion of this course, students will acquire foundational knowledge that helps reduce costs, ensure safety, and extend production cycles in your valve population.
Core Objectives:
- Identifying valve types, functions, construction, and operation
- Learn how to use common industry tools to help you select the right valve
- Understand proper installation, repair, and troubleshooting of valves
- Define leakage and how to control it
- Identify and list factors affecting service life
- Learn to read flow and understand system factors impacting flow
Assessment: Swagelok certificates upon successful completion of theoretical exam
Prerequisite: None
Duration: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Maximum Class Size: 10
Location: Dates scheduled for Perth, classes can be organised for other locations upon request
Training Validity: 3 years
